The Short of It:

I'm a research editor and contributing writer at WIRED. I have a Masters in Journalism from UC Berkeley and previously reported for The Press Democrat, Moonshine Ink, Tahoe Quarterly, and Richmond Confidential. Before switching to a career in journalism, I served in the US Air Force for four years as a weather forecaster, briefing pilots and creating forecasts for operations throughout the Pacific theater.
